| BATH & BODY WORKS HAUL |

What girl doesn't love to shop at Bath & Body Works? This store has the best smelling stuff ever. Their candles are amazing and their scents are to die for.
Bath & Body Works is also usually running some kind of a sale, so you never actually pay full price for anything. I didn't go to the store, but I did decide to order a few things online because it was "Buy 3, Get 3" and who can pass that up?
The only things I bought were the fragrance mists because I already have tons of candles I have yet to use and too many lotions that I have to use up before I buy myself more. The fragrance mists are great because you can just throw them in your purse and use them whenever you feel the need to "freshen up". They're also great as an alternative to perfume, the scent is more subtle.

Here's what I got!

This is my OG Bath & Body Works scent. I think the first time I bought this I was in middle school and I fell in love. It has such a light, crisp scent, it's super refreshing. This is a "retired fragrance"

I bought two of these one for me & one for my sister.

* Sweet Pea Fine Fragrance Mist - 8 FL OZ - $14.00

This is another old favorite of mine, I wore this all throughout high school. This is another light scent, it smells fruity and it has some floral notes too.

Compared to the other scents I bought, this one has a more sophisticated scent. It's fruity and floral, but rich, and it has notes of amber, sandalwood, and musk to name a few.

I think this is Bath & Body Works most popular scent. It even won an award from The Fragrance Foundation! It smells sweet and rich. It has notes of champagne, peonies, and almond creme.

I bought this for my sister as well. It smells exactly like the mist and their lotions feel incredible on the skin. It's moisturizing and not greasy, and it smells so good!

I'm so happy with everything I got from Bath & Body Works!
What is your all time favorite Bath & Body Works scent?
What's your favorite thing to buy there?

Something I Need To Talk About..

So at the beginning of the month, I promised I would be posting every single day for Blogtober. I had a whole list of posts I really wanted to do and I had a few Halloween costume tutorials I wanted to do as well. Unfortunately, I've been having somewhat of a rough month. There have been a lot of things going on in my personal life that have made it a little hard to post every single day. Not only that, but I have found no time to actually get my Halloween costume tutorials done. I had a photo shoot planned so I could take high quality photos of the costumes and I was going to do fun makeup looks to go along with them, but I realized that with everything going on it would be nearly impossible to do.

I don't want to give you guys anything less than the best from me, so I've decided to just scrap the whole thing. It makes me so sad that I can't do this but sometimes you have to put certain things on hold to handle other things.

However, this doesn't mean I won't be posting anything. I have a few hauls that will be up today and tomorrow and a few other posts planned.

I'm sorry to anyone who was looking forward to the Halloween costume tutorials.

Thanks for understanding!

| What The Fall Is Like Where I Live | #blogtober

Although it's the fall across the United States, it's not exactly the same for everyone. Each state definitely has it's own experiences for fall, as well as it's own weather. I live on Long Island, New York. If you look at a map, it's the island sticking out of New York next to Manhattan. The fall on Long Island is perfect and I'm going to tell you why.

The weather is the best part of the fall on Long Island. The super cool nights and chilly mornings are so blissful. There's no better feeling than having your bedroom window open while you cuddle with some blankets in your bed. During the day, it gets just warm enough out to wear a long sleeved shirt or hoodie comfortably. There are a few cold, windy, and rainy days, but the beautiful ones definitely outweigh the bad ones.

Long Island also has tons of trees, different ones too. Different trees mean different leaves, which create so many beautiful colors. Walk down a neighborhood street and you'll see yellows, reds, oranges, browns, even some purple leaves! It's truly a sight to be seen. We also have tons of wooded areas and nature preserves which are so much fun to walk through in the fall.

Where I live there are also plenty of farms. You can hit one up if you want to grab some locally grown fruits and veggies and sometimes they have fun fall activities such as corn mazes and hay rides.

People love decorating their houses for holidays on Long Island. I love walking through my neighborhood and not only seeing all the spooky and fun Halloween decorations, but also the fall decorations. You see pumpkins, mums in different colors, and beautiful fall themed wreaths.

I'm so grateful I live on Long Island because of how wonderful the fall is here. If you ever have the opportunity to travel here during the fall months, I highly suggest you do it. You won't regret it!

Now tell me, what is the fall like where you live? I would love to hear all about the different things going on in your town during the fall! Comment below and let me know!

| My Favorite Fall Eyeshadow Colors | #blogtober

With each changing season, I love to change up a few things I use daily. I change my skincare routine, my hair care routine, and my nail polish colors to match with whatever season it is. I also like to switch up the eyeshadow colors I use when the seasons change. Today, I'm going to share with you some of my favorite eyeshadow colors to use in the fall.

1. e.l.f Duo Eyshadow in Plum & Coffee:

I love this eyeshadow duo for the fall. You have a perfectly pigmented shimmery brown and a matte deep plum. These eyeshadows can be used together or with other shadows to make a beautiful, natural look.

2. e.l.f. Duo Eyeshadow in Light Brown:

This is another duo eyeshadow from e.l.f. I'm not the biggest fan of the nude color, but the light brown is so pretty. It's a very light brown shade that adds just the right amount of shimmer to any natural eye look.

3. L.A. Colors Eyeshadow Trio in Sunflower:

This is a probably much overlooked dollar store gem. The colors in this trio are each extremely pigmented and the colors remind me of the fall leaves. You get a beautiful and unique yellowish gold shade, a burnt reddish orange, and a brown that goes with any color. I love using these shades together to make a pretty, but not often seen eye look.

4. Bare Minerals Mineral Eye Color in Harmony:

The perfect shimmery brown for the fall and pretty much any other time of the year. I'm surprised that not many people talk about these eyeshadows because they're just so pigmented and beautiful.

5. Bare Minerals Mineral Eye Color in Savor:

This is probably one of the most stunning eyeshadows I've ever seen in my life. It's a beautiful shimmery olive green and I think it would look perfect with a somewhat natural fall eye look. This color is so different and fun to use!

6. Circa Color Focus Eyeshadow in Exceptional:

This is a drugstore brand that I've hardly seen anyone talk about. I can't speak for the entire line of products, since I've only tried the eyeshadows, but the eyeshadows are amazing. High color pay off and extremely creamy. This rich purple is a great color for a fall night out or dinner.

7. Wet n Wild Eyeshadow Trio in Velour Vixen:

Part of Wet n Wild's fall limited edition line, this eyeshadow trio is screaming fall. Each color in this trio is perfect for a fall party or any other time you want to look super "glammed" up. I made a look using this trio and I'm going to be posting a tutorial on it next week, so stay tuned!

If you're interested in seeing a look or tutorial based on any of these eyeshadow colors, let me know in the comments! I'd love to show you!
What are your favorite fall eyeshadow colors? Let me know!

| 15 Things I Don't Like About The Fall | #blogtober

Not every season can be perfect. Although I do love the fall, there are definitely a few things I don't like about it. I'm going to share with you 15 things I don't like about the fall. Enjoy!

1. I may be slightly alone on this one, but I hate football. I hate watching it, I hate hearing about it, I really wish it would go away. During the fall you can't go anywhere or talk to anyone without football somehow getting brought up. Unfortunately for me, football lasts until February...rats.

2. There's nothing more depressing to me than when the sun sets at 6 PM. It makes me feel like I should be sleeping, not driving home from work. It's totally depressing and seriously messes with my head.

3. It also sucks when you wake up at 6 AM to get ready for work and the sun isn't even up yet. When the sky's still dark in the morning, it just makes leaving my bed that much harder.

4. Sick season is here. Colder weather and shorter days means everyone is staying inside more, which means you're trapped in a room with yucky germs. I feel this one especially since I work with kids and kids are always getting sick.

5. Someone just told me the other day that spiders show up more in the fall. Which made me realize they were right and maybe the fall is actually the worst time of the year.

6. I love summer rain. It's refreshing after a hot and humid day. Fall rain however, is cold and depressing. It makes me want to lock myself in my house and never leave.

7. Colder weather means dryer skin and chapped lips. Remember to moisturize daily ladies!

8. Now, don't get me wrong, the leaves in the fall are beautiful, but they make a huge mess and when it rains everything gets slippery.

9. I hate seeing my tan lines from the summer disappear in the fall. I don't like being pale, but unless I want to fake tan everyday, there just isn't enough sun in the fall to keep me tan.

10. I'm a huge fan of wearing layers in the fall, but I'm not a fan of how much extra laundry this means I have to do.

11. Transition clothing is another thing I hate about the fall. There are some days where you either overdress or under dress for the weather  and then you're uncomfortable for the entire day.

12. That thing where everyone asks you what you're going to be for Halloween or what you're going to dress up as and you have no idea and then you get worried and can't stop thinking about it, I'm going to call it "Halloween Anxiety" and it certainly sucks.

13. All the delicious food that we tend to eat in the fall makes it really hard to stick to any diets.

14. Election Day is in the fall and this year, now matter who we pick, we're screwed.

15. Fall makes me realize that winter is right around the corner. Winter does have it's perks but I'm certainly not ready for 9 degree weather.

I hope you enjoyed reading about the things I don't like about the fall.

| October Birchbox! | #blogtober

Sorry about the past two days, life got a little hectic and I couldn't post. I changed a few things around with my blogtober scheduling. Instead of doing the post I had planned today, I'm going to share with you what I got in my October Birchbox! I can't believe how early it came this month, I'm so excited!

Birchbox is a monthly subscription box that features makeup, skincare, and beauty sample products. Each month you receive five samples that are curated to your preferences and needs. The best part is, it only costs $10!
If you're interested in subscribing to Birchbox click this link:
https://www.birchbox.com/invite/3gvqk

Now, without further hesitation, here's everything I got this month!

- Embryolisse Lait-Creme Concentre:

It says this moisturizer is a favorite among makeup artists and dermatologists alike and it's good for all skin types. It is extremely tiny though, only 0.17 FL.OZ! I'm actually very interested in how this works and I can't wait to try it out!

- Kiehl's Rare Earth Pore Cleansing Masque:

I'm so excited for this product! I've been looking for good masks to use since my skin isn't doing too well and this looks perfect. It's supposed to be a deep pore cleanser with Amazonian white clay. This is also a great sample size. If a little goes a long way, this could probably last me a while.

- MAKE Silk Cream Lipstick in Taffy:

This shade is a "My Lips But Better" shade and I'm okay with that. It offers a little bit of shine and the color is truly gorgeous, I really like the way this looks on my lips. The packaging, although different, is pretty cool too.

- Marcelle Xtension Plus Curl Mascara:

I'm excited about this mascara. I'm always looking for new ones and this sample size is perfect! The wand looks promising as well.

- R + Co Death Valley Dry Shampoo:

Dry shampoo is always a great thing to have around. I've never tried this brand, but I can't wait to use it!

That's everything I got in my October Birchbox! I'm pretty happy with my samples this month. I'm very excited to try them out.
What did you get in your October Birchbox? Did you love your box this month or no?
Let me know in the comments!

| 10 Fun Things To Do In The Fall! | #blogtober

Fall is officially upon us and if you're like me, you feel guilty for spending the days indoors when you could be out enjoying the weather. I've made a list of 10 fun things to do in the fall, including a few indoor activities for when it's rainy or muggy out.
Enjoy!

1. Apple picking is a fun activity you can do with friends and family or even alone! The best part is using the apples you picked yourself to make a delicious baked good!

2. You can also go pumpkin picking, the staple October activity. There's pumpkin patches everywhere so you don't have to travel far to do this!

3. Take those pumpkins you picked and decorate them. Whether you make Jack-O-Lanterns or get crafty and use paint, you're sure to have a lot of fun. You can even have your own pumpkin decorating party with friends. Make them spooky, cute, or funny; the options are endless.

4. The weather is perfect right now to go on a nice, long walk. You can stroll through your neighborhood or even go for a jog. Just enjoy the perfect weather now while you can, before it gets too cold out!

5. Instead of just going for a regular walk, go to an area where you can see a lot of leaves! Take a hike through the woods to see all the pretty colors!

6. Have a spa day or night. You can take a bubble bath or give yourself a pedicure, anything that you can think of to pamper yourself. Don't forget to light some fall scented candles!

7. You can always get all cozy on your couch and read a book or watch a movie. Grab a big blanket and your favorite book and you're ready for a relaxing night in!

8. The fall is the perfect time to head to the farm. The weather is beautiful and there's always so much to do at the farm. If you have a local farmer's market, hit it up to get yourself some fresh vegetables.

9. Now is the perfect time to go to a haunted house too! You can go check out one made by someone in your neighborhood or you can go to the big, scary one!

10. Just go rake some leaves! It's something that has to get done, but instead of just making it a chore, make a big pile and jump into it! It's so nostalgic and when you're done playing in the leaves, you can just pick them up and throw them in the trash!

What are your favorite fall activities? What do you like to do the most in the fall? Let me know in the comments!

| My Favorite Fall Fashion Trends! | #blogtober

Time to whip out the super cute outfits again! During the summer it can be so hard to find fashionable outfits that also keep you cool, but now that it's fall we can all start dressing fun, chic, and most importantly, comfortable!
Today, I'm going to share with you some of my favorite fall fashion trends! Enjoy!

1. Layers

Nothing better than wearing layers of clothing. You get hot, take something off. You get cold, put more on. It's essentially, the perfect way to dress. I also feel that wearing layers tends to make you look more put together, like you took the time to put all those layers on.

2. Booties

Whether they're lace-up or zippered, heeled or flat, there's a pair of booties out there for everyone. They're the perfect shoe when it's too cold out for flats or sandals and too warm still for those UGGS.

3. Scarves

My favorite way to spruce an outfit up in the fall. On lazy days, I opt for a pretty infinity scarf over pretty much any shirt, and it actually makes it look like I took my time getting ready. There's also so many different styles to choose from, the options are endless.

4. Boots with Boot Socks

I am absolutely in love with those dainty, lacy boot socks that you see peeking out just over the top of someones boots. It's another sure fire way to make a basic outfit look more put together. Wear them with leggings, jeans, or with a skirt or dress. They look perfect with everything!

5. Sweater Weather

Sweaters are my favorite piece of clothing in the fall. You can go for cozy and wear an over sized sweater or you can pick a pretty cardigan to wear over your favorite t-shirt.

What are your favorite fashion trends for the fall? What do you like to wear the most when it starts getting colder out? Let me know in the comments!

| 15 Things I Love About The Fall | #blogtober

It's fall, and even though every season has its perks, the fall is basically everyone's favorite time of the year! I have yet to meet anyone who truly doesn't like the fall. Although everyone loves the fall, I believe everyone has their own reason for why they love it. I'm sure if you asked 100 people what they like the most about fall, you would get close to 100 different answers. Today, I'm going to share with you 15 thing I personally love about the fall! Enjoy!

1. The weather is perfect. No longer is it too hot out to do anything, and it's not too cold out yet either.

2. Sweater Season! Don't know what to wear? Just throw a sweater over anything and you're ready to take on the world. Plus, there are so many variations of sweaters to pick from. You can go with a cardigan, a v-neck, or you can even steal  borrow one from your significant other.

3. The leaves change into beautiful colors. You can see yellow, red, orange, purple, and even pretty browns. The best is a combination of colors. Everywhere you look, it's beautiful out!

4. The air just smells good. Let me know in the comments if you notice this too, but the air in the fall definitely has a specific smell to it, at least to me it does. It's like this crisp, cool smell and I love it!

5. Pumpkins! Not to be confused with pumpkin spice. I'm talking about plain old pumpkins. I really like them, which sounds really random but I like the way they look. They're just this perfect symbol of October and the fall. The fall is the only time you hear anyone talking about pumpkins.

6. Snuggle Season. My all time favorite thing to do in the fall at night is just cozy up on the couch with my boyfriend and watch TV.

7. Thanksgiving! Whats better than spending the day eating food and hanging out with your family? Such a great fall holiday!

8. Fall fashion trends are another thing I love. Everyone dresses so cute in the fall. To see what Fall fashion trends I love check out tomorrow's post!

9. There's so many fun things to do in the fall! Apple picking, hay rides, haunted houses, the list goes on!

10. New TV shows and seasons of favorites start in the fall, which is also the perfect time to watch TV.

11. Stepping on crunchy leaves on the ground is so much fun, don't ask me why, it just is.

12. Black Friday & Cyber Monday take place in the fall. Not everyone is a fan of these unofficial holidays, but I simply can't pass up on the biggest sales of the year!

13. Fall decor is so pretty, basically fall colors in general are. Everything is decorated just as beautiful as it looks outside.

14. Going on walks in the fall is so much fun. Whether you go on an actual hike or walk down the street in your neighborhood, you don't have to worry about getting all sweaty and uncomfortable.

15. Halloween, duh.

Those are a few of the reasons I love the fall so much! Let me know in the comments what you like the most about fall. I'd love to hear!

| BLOGTOBER | What is it and What I Plan On Writing About!

Although it's the second day of October and I should have started this yesterday, I've decided I want to try to do Blogtober this year!
Blogtober is a challenge that many bloggers take place in during October. There are no specific rules as to what you have to post, you just have to post at least once every single day of the month.
I was considering doing this all last month, and I actually decided to give it a try. I really want to do this challenge because I've been having trouble posting when I say I'm going to post and I feel that if I can actually complete this challenge of posting every single day, posting three times a week will become super easy for me. I also decided to create my own prompts for each day. My prompts are all either fall related or Halloween related. There's so much going on in the fall and I really love Halloween, so I figured these prompts will also make it easier for me to write and actually complete this challenge!

If you would like to use my list of prompts for your own Blogtober feel free to do so!
Just be sure to tag me, so I can see what you wrote about! I really want to spend more time reading other blogs as well and I'm interested in what you would write about!
