| UNDERRATED DRUGSTORE PRODUCTS | Products I love That No One Talks About!

Sometimes I feel like many in the beauty community only stick to a few staple products. I'm always hearing raves about the same products over and over again. Now, obviously these products that are talked about constantly are great but there are so many other wonderful products out there that are kind of left in the shadows. Today I'm going to share with you a few drugstore products that I personally love that no one really seems to talk about. Enjoy!

1. Physicians Formula Super BB All-in-1 Powder: $13.99

It makes me so sad to see no one ever talk about this. This is my go-to for days where I don't want to wear any makeup at all but I still desperately need coverage, (curse you acne prone skin!). I use the shade light/medium and it is perfect for me. It provides pretty decent coverage and the formula is feels more creamy than powdery. This is also SPF 30, so it's become a favorite of mine when I hit the beach.

2. Maybelline Master Conceal Camouflaging Concealer: $8.99

No drugstore concealer seems to work well on my skin, and spending more than $10 on one is just not possible for me at the moment, so when I found this concealer and tried it out, I was ecstatic. It actually hides the dark circles under my eyes and doesn't crease on me at all. It's full coverage and blends well, it's a clear win in my book!

3. Rimmel London Scandal Eyes Retro Glam Mascara: $5.99

This isn't the first time I've talked about this mascara on my blog and probably won't be the last. I absolutely love this mascara! The wand is perfect and it never, ever clumps on me. I also never have any fall out with it. Whenever I use this mascara it looks like I'm wearing false lashes, it lengthens and adds tons of volume. It's just a pain in the butt to remove, but that's fine with me.

4. CoverGirl Tru Blend Bronzer: $9.99

This bronzer is perfect. It looks natural, it blends easily, and it lasts all day. Plus you get a good amount of product for the price. It's perfect for adding a little bit of color to your face and it never looks muddy. Oh and remember ladies, don't contour with a bronzer, use a contouring powder instead!

5. Milani Stay Put Brow Color: $6.99

Finding brow products that work for me is so hard. My brows are an ashy blonde color and everything I've tried in the past has been way too warm toned for them. I use this brow product everyday in the color 02 Natural Taupe and it's perfect. The formula is amazing and my brows look natural not boxy. It's very easy to apply and I never accidentally over apply which can happen with other brow products. You also get lots of product for the price, I've had mine for two months and still have tons left!

What do you think about these underrated drugstore makeup products? Do you love them or hate them? What drugstore makeup products do you think are underrated? Let me know in the comments, I would love to hear what you think and I'm always down to try out some new products I may have never heard about.

| Wet N Wild Fall Limited Edition Haul | Eyeshadow Trio Review & Swatches!

There is seriously something about the words "Limited Edition" that makes me want something a lot more. Who's with me on that? I feel like if I don't get the limited edition item, I'm going to have some serious FOMO going on.
Anyways, on a recent trip to my local CVS I spotted the Wet N Wild Limited Edition Autumn Lush Collection. Included in this collection are 4 new mascaras, 4 new lip products, and 2 eyeshadow trios. I was really only interested in the eyehadow trios since Wet n Wild makes some pretty bomb eyeshadows. Luckily for me, there was one of each left! I quickly snatched them and proceeded to the checkout feeling like the luckiest girl in the world. I kid you not, my heart rate actually spiked a little when I saw these.

The two eyeshadow trios are very different, but I feel both represent fall in their own way. Their names, Velour Vixen and Plaid To The Bone, are also a great representation of fall and of course super fun too.

Velour Vixen has a creamy matte brow bone shade, a shimmery burgundy crease shade, and a dark purple eyelid shade with burgundy sparkles in it. When swatched the brow bone shade looks exactly like it does in the palette but it does kick up a little dust. The crease shade is a really pretty burgundy color with a little bit of shimmer in it and it swatches very nicely. The eyelid shade was pretty surprising when swatched. It's actually a black shade with burgundy sparkles in it, it's gorgeous. What I like most about this trio is it can definitely be used during the holidays as well, since it has so many burgundy shades in it.
I think I'll probably use this trio to do a Thanksgiving Dinner makeup tutorial!

Plaid To The Bone has a metallic taupe brow bone shade, a matte navy blue crease shade, and a duo chrome eyelid shade. When swatched the brow bone shade is gorgeous, although I probably wouldn't use it as a brow bone shade but probably as an eyelid color. The crease shade kicks up a little dust, but it is a very unique navy blue color. Finally, the best of them all, the eyelid color. It looks like a shimmery green in the palette but when swatched it's actually a duo chrome blue/brown that matches the crease color perfectly. What I like most about this trio is definitely the duo chrome eyelid shade. I've never seen a drugstore eyeshadow that has duo chrome and I'm so excited to play around with it!

These eyeshadow trios are absolutely gorgeous, but they're also very pigmented and perfect for creating some fun fall looks. The shadows are creamy and blend able, but the best part is how affordable they are. I paid less than $5 for each.
Check your drugstores for these trios and the other items in the Wet n Wild Limited Edition Autumn Lush Collection.

Let me know if you hauled these eyeshadow trios or any of the other products in this collection. I'd love to know what you think of these trios and what kind of looks you've already done with them!

| BIRCHBOX UNBOXING! | September Birchbox Unboxing!

I've finally done it fellow beauty lovers, I've finally subscribed to my first beauty box! I received my first Birchbox about a week ago and I'm so excited, (in case you couldn't tell from all of the exclamation points I'm using). I have been wanting to subscribe to Birchbox for a while, but I wasn't sure if I really wanted to pay $10 a month for beauty samples I might not even want or like. I decided to finally go for it when a survey site I frequently use, Swagbucks, was running a promotion where if I subscribed to Birchbox I would get $15 back in "Swagbucks". (If you want to learn more about Swagbucks and how you can earn gift cards, you can read about it in my Worth It Wednesday Survey Sites post linked here!)
I'm so happy I subscribed to Birchbox, my first box is amazing and I can see myself really enjoying receiving a box of surprise goodies each month.
For those who don't know what Birchbox is, it's a monthly beauty subscription box, where you receive 5 samples of beauty and skincare products that are fit to match you, using the information you give them. The best part is it's only $10 and if you like the samples, you can purchase the full size on the Birchbox website.
Anyways, enough rambling, let's get into what I got!

- Beauty Protector Protect & Blonde Toning Shampoo:

I'm so excited to try this shampoo out, I just dyed my hair again and I want to make sure my hair stays a nice, cool blonde and I want to keep those brassy tones out. This shampoo seems like it will be perfect for that and I hope it works!

- Klorane Waterproof Eye Make Up Remover with Soothing Cornflower:

Who doesn't need an eye make up remover?  Nothing is worse than when you can't seem to get your mascara off. I have high hopes for this eye make up remover, since it says it's good for waterproof makeup.

- Milk Makeup Lip & Cheek in Perk:

This is a coral colored stick product that's supposed to work as a blush and a lip product. I'm not as excited to try this out as some of the other items. I'm not a big fan of cream blushes and I don't usually wear color on my lips, but I'll be sure to give it a good try to truly decide if I like it or not.

- TokyoMilk Light Perfume:

It's really hard for me to explain scents, but I do like the smell of this perfume. It's a very refreshing scent.

- Vasanti BrightenUp! Enzymatic Face Rejuvenator:

This is a face scrub that's supposed to mimic the effects of a professional microdermabrasion. Sounds exciting, and I'm always looking for new skincare products so I'm excited to try this out!

*Bonus*  Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick:

This was an extra gift if you entered a promo code during check out. Like I said earlier, I'm not a huge lip product person but I did swatch this and it literally stays all day. I used a makeup remover wipe and washed my hands a few times and I could still see some color on my hand. It's definitely a great product and I'll probably end up giving it to my sister.

That's everything I got in my September Birchbox! Let me know in the comments if you subscribe to Birchbox and what you got in your box, I'd love to know!

| CHANGES! |

First off, I'd like to say a huge sorry to anyone who reads my blog. I haven't posted in almost a month, I've been trying to figure out what direction I'd like to go in as far as this blog goes and I think I've finally decided what changes I want to make.
I think I'm going to get rid of the Monday-Thursday themed posts. Its become hard to keep up with and I end up getting so stumped when it comes time to write that I just end up not writing at all.
For now, I'm going to try to at least post every Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
There will be no themes to the posts, I'll just post whatever I feel like.
This will still be a beauty, fashion, and lifestyle blog.
Also, look out for additional posts, I might just post more during the week!
Thank you so much for your understanding!
Look out for a blog post later today!
I'm so happy to be back in this.
